In May, I had the opportunity to speak in Berlin, Germany at the annual PenteraCon conference. What is PenteraCon? PenteraCon is Pentera’s Annual Customer Summit, focused on reducing cyber risks and enhancing security readiness through validation. During this event, security executives and practitioners come together to explore the technical and strategic aspects of security validation.

My presentation was on a LockBit Ransomware event and surviving an attack. I’ll have a separate post on that later. The crowd, consisting of around 500 with people from over 30 countries, were engaging and had plenty of questions. I also got to brush shoulders with Sir Alex Younger, former Chief of MI6 (think James Bond) and Brett Johnson, the Original Internet Godfather/Former US Most Wanted.
